Ms. Kraft is a skillful litigator who is committed to representing injured persons and ensuring that her clients receive high quality and consistent communication regarding the status of their case.
Ms. Kraft received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Avila College in Kansas City, Missouri, graduating cum laude. In 1990, she received her Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri at Kansas City, graduating With Distinction and also with the honor of the Order of the Bench and Robe. Ms. Kraft is a member of the Missouri Bar, the Illinois Bar, and the Kansas Bar. She has represented clients nationwide.
Ms. Kraft’s eighteen year career as an attorney has been exclusively in civil litigation matters. She specializes in the area of pharmaceutical products liability and serves on Science and Discovery Committees in several Multi-District Litigation (MDL) cases, including In re Gadolinium Based Contrast Agents Products Liability Litigation and In re Ortho Evra Products Liability Litigation. Ms. Kraft has had significant involvement in leadership roles of working with expert witnesses of many disciplines who are critical to establishing liability issues in pharmaceutical cases. She has worked extensively with expert witnesses in fields including, but not limited to drug safety, drug development, regulatory requirements of the Food and Drug Administration, manufacturing practices of pharmaceutical companies, clinical trials methodology, clinical trial studies, and epidemiology/post-marketing studies. Ms. Kraft also represents clients in many other prescription drug cases, including NuvaRing, Vioxx, Trasylol, and the Fentanyl Pain Patch. She has also spoken at national seminars involving the In re Ortho Evra Products Liability Litigation.
Ms. Kraft has successfully represented clients in state and federal court in jury and bench trials, and has argued before the Appellate Court of Illinois Fifth Judicial District and obtained favorable rulings from the United States Courts of Appeals for the Third and Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Ms. Kraft has achieved a rating from her peers of the highest level of professional excellence for her quality and expertise in legal work, professionalism, and ethics by receiving an “AV” rating in Martindale-Hubbell. Ms. Kraft was selected by members of the Missouri Bar to serve on the Board of Governors for the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys, and presently serves as a member of the Board. Ms. Kraft is also a member of the American Association for Justice, the American Bar Association, the Missouri Bar Association, the Metropolitan Bar Association of St. Louis, the Association for Women Lawyers in St. Louis, and the Kansas Bar Association.
Ms. Kraft has also been selected to be included in the “Honors Editions” of the Cambridge Who’s Who Among Executive and Professional Women” for 2008-2011, a sign of her high mark of achievement and leadership in the legal profession.
